I haven’t been blogging since last week. REASON: I didn’t have internet connection at home when I went back for the Holy Week… The router there is so messed up that you’d have to unplug and replug it after a few minutes… max is 3. >>.< <
Before I start with the OH SO HECTIC WEEK, I changed smilies!
They’re so KAWAII!
I’m way too lazy to change all emoticons in this site considering that there are a lot, I’m not changing everything anymore…
Everything will start from here on.
Exactly what have I been up to this week… That’s a good question… Well, I’ve been doing our ALGOCOM (a course on analyzing the algorithms of programs) technical paper last Sunday, studying like a maniac since Monday up ’til Friday VERY early in the morning for PROBSTA (probability and statistics), INTROOS (introduction to operating systems), and ALGOCOM, translating and doing my speech last Tuesday for JAPALA (Japanese Language), and doing our presentation for ALGOCOM last Monday as well.
Not bad for the whole week huh…? I wasn’t able to do all these stuff during the Holy Week because I wasn’t inspired and I wasn’t given enough time to do what I want to do because every one of us (my older sister and my younger sister, and me of course… add my dad to that.) WANTED to use the only computer that had internet at that time because it is connected directly to the modem. Sigh… So, I just finished playing Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney: Trials and Tribulations (the entire game with 4 cases) the entire 5 days of my stay at home… Try it with Nintendo DS. The game’s nice and SO addicting… I finished 90% of my JAPALA take home finals though..
By the way… Our professor in JAPALA took a video of us while we were taking our speeches. Yes, all of us. I’ll post here either the video or the link once I find it on YouTube…
Just for fun, I made a mini-documentary of what I had been doing the whole week… What our dinning table looked like. It’s just a bunch of images since I got one of the digicam’s at home. Yes, you read right. ONE of the digicam’s. My oldest sister bought one for her family, my dad bought another one, I don’t know why… Then there’s our old trusty digicam which got me to a grade of 2.5 for our Photography class a few terms back…
Even now, I still have fun taking pictures. Even now that I understand better how to capture the real beauty of nature with images.
WEDNESDAY - around 2 in the morning

This is my bed as well as my computer table while I was desperately trying to do my speech for JAPALA. If you can notice, there is a black thick book on my bed… That’s a Japanese dictionary that me and Vinno bought for the sole purpose of this speed and the take home final exam.

This one is an attempt to create a powerpoint presentation for the speech… Which I ended up not using.
THURSDAY - around 2 in the morning

This here is a picture of my bed as I was trying to study for my PROBSTA exam…

That is our dining table… And that is how I usually study the reason I needed the dining table..
FRIDAY - around 2 in the morning

So much for PROBSTA, this is how I studied INTROOS.
FRIDAY - 4 in the morning

Yes, you read right… 4 in the morning and I’m still awake and studying.

An image before I decided to retire to bed…. That’s what I thought… But I still answered a few exercises before I really retired to sleep.
FRIDAY - around 11; just after the exam

And lastly, this is how the table looked like after we got back from the exam. The laptop was placed there at around 8 because Vinno went over for us to study and practice more on the page-replacement algorithms for INTROOS.
I slept for about 2 hours before I woke up for the exam… Then I found myself really awake while I was studying, which is weird because I haven’t had enough sleep yet. When I got back, that was the time I was knocked out and went straight to bed after my computer died on me again. Luckily, it’s alive again.
What’s up next on my life… Well, I have 2 more weeks left of school. I have no idea what we will be doing in school next week, but I do know is that next next week is the final exams. And I still don’t have a project for INTROOS! It’s easy anyway… I just have to install a virtual machine in my laptop (which I really am planning to do..
) and present it to the professor that I can operate another operating system in my laptop other than Mac and open an application in that OS (the one in the virtual machine). Easy. The hard part is, we still have to memorize UNIX terminal codes…. Sigh…. Good enough since the project is SO simple.

I can’t imagine how you can live without the Internet. I hope it’s fixed soon, or will be fixed soon. I think I would die if my room looked like yours. I am so paranoid about having things neat. I would crazy if a pen was out of place. When you find that video from Japanese language class, post it because I am interested in seeing it. xD
