Home sweet home…….?

Yes, I am back home. I just moved back last Monday… Actually no, my stuff came last Monday and I came home Tuesday afternoon. As for our final presentation for thesis, we got a silver for the Most Outstanding Thesis Award! Gold was given to the other group.

Last week, since I was SO bored, I created a new layout! It’s not really new cause I based it on an existing layout from WordPress Themes Free. I just added my own personal touches when I tried to create the layout. I did not install the layout. I created it from scratch based from that.

I purposely titled the website as “Untitled” for now because I am still lost with what will be next in my life. It’s not like moving on from high school to college, that I will only pick a college and a course that I want.. It most definitely is something BIGGER. And I still don’t know what to do. Hence, the title. I will probably keep this layout for a long time as I have more plans with it..

After 2 days of trying to fix my room, I had finally finished today. Just about 5PM today. I started around 4PM yesterday and stopped at 3AM and then resumed fixing about 3PM today and finished about 5pM.

Dreams can become hopes

I’m almost done with college, all I’m waiting for right now is our final presentation (for the award we were nominated for) and that presentation will be on Monday from 10 – 12 noon. And finally, I am moving out of my dorm that same day. After the presentation, I will be evacuating from the place. FINALLY.. And right now, I am bored with my one week vacation, what more with my entire summer…?

Yeah… You may be shocked that I don’t speak my usual terms (for the title anyways). I found a link through my plurk account (through friends) which lead me to these videos: (A warning to those who understand Tagalog, this is WAY heavy on Tagalog cursing)

For those who are interested on what the video is about, the first one is about this certain girl who couldn’t withdraw some money from her ATM account. The entire 10 minutes of the video is comprised of her cursing at the call center agent (kudos to this guy, he had to go through this girl). Although she is a Filipina, she DAMNED her own country where she is currently standing in (at least at that time of the video) yelling saying that Filipinos (take note that she is referring to EVERYONE, including herself) are corrupt and that we are all MFs (I will just abbreviate that as I don’t really like cursing that way).

My opinion, she should know where she came from. She’s still a Filipino where ever she may be staying so she can’t just say that to ANYONE, especially that she doesn’t know the person.

The second video is, people say, is the same b****h who is now at McDonald’s ordering her food when, I’m guessing, the cashier person accidentally spilled it. It can be replaced right? Well, again, she just made a HUGE deal out of it.

All I can say is, this girls a mental.

TRAVEL~

But I can’t… I still haven’t graduated so, I can’t really leave the place anytime soon.

Although, I have good news to everyone! We PASSED the defense!! We passed with Minor Revisions to the Thesis and we were even given the Model Presentation Award cause we had a skit during the defense. Me and Vinno were picked to be the ones playing in the skit so we had to leave the room in the middle of the presentation just to be able to change our clothes for a maybe about a minute or two (luckily the comfort room was just beside the room where we were assigned to do the defense) and get back to the room to play the skit and then return to our business attires after the skit. Imagine how messy my hair had been after changing twice. I had it on polytail and even had make-up on so I think I did not look as presentable anymore after changing twice..

So anyways, I had been BORED the past few days…. And I can’t find anything to do. I’ve been coding my uncle’s website since yesterday and I had given up a while ago cause I couldn’t make things work! I’ve been sitting across my dad’s laptop almost the entire day and I’ve only figured out one code. (It wasn’t even me who figured it out)

And lately, I’ve been thinking of revamping the layout, again. I don’t know.. I want it to have the feel that I am finally leaving college. Kidding. I don’t know… I just want to have some thing new just after knowing that I am finally graduating and this will be the first thing.

I hope everyone is doing fine… I am hoping to start taking driving lessons by next week. And I am also hoping to be applying for TOEFL next week as well. I am also planning on taking a part-time job here in the province too while I waited for some application stuff so that at least I get an income. My mom’s being tight with money again. She said that this month will be my last month to receive personal allowances. I was like, how come my oldest sister still gets hers? She’s already receiving salaries every month. And she goes, she’s still studying. Yeah, she IS studying, but she gets paid!!!

And another thing, I am NOT happy with the last activity that I handled in our org. Not that I was the project head or anything. I TRIED my best to make things work properly and orderly. It’s just that, people just DID NOT WANT TO LISTEN TO ME. They wanted to do it their way. And so BE IT. They messed up the entire event putting it almost down the drain because the seminar room was ALMOST EMPTY. GAD.

And so, this blog entry ended up to be another rant.. I’m sorry… I just can’t help but express how I feel through this… It’s my way of communication. I hope you don’t mind… Sorry.. Next time, I promise, I will try not to rant..

Spending Spree

This coming Friday will be our Final Defense presentation for our Thesis. I’m not that nervous about it, yet I’m not as calm as well. I’m suddenly in between, at least right now. Just this morning when I woke up, I asked myself, “what day is it? Thursday?” and then I suddenly realized that no, it wasn’t thursday. It was only Tuesday. I’ve been sleeping VERY late the past weeks, may be the reason why I thought of that. Surprisingly, I slept at around 3 in the morning (compared to 5 or 6 in the morning, that’s already early for me at this point) and my sister woke me up at around 7:30 for her to drop me at my college place. When I got there, about an hour later, I slept, again.

So, despite everything that happened here in the city and college, my life in the province is, well, dragging as usual. Hehe. I’ve had my room re-painted cause my mom had the ENTIRE house re-painted. I kept the same color of my room cause I was thinking about the bed covers that my mom bought just for my room and thought that everything will go to waste if I changed my room color. So, I kept it.
