A month had passed…

Hi! I’m back. I’ve been gone for almost a month now and a lot of things had happened. First thing is my grandfather who passed away (thank you to those who commented and said that his version of the Swan Song was great). After that, we’ve had a rough road in the family… My sister had an accident I think that was the week after his burial.. The wheel of a truck suddenly slipped out of the truck itself and crashed into my sister’s car. Luckily she was not hurt or anything. Not even the wind shield was touched. So, yeah… Lolo (my grandfather) had been watching over us. 
BTW, I edited the Swan Song. I had a few errors upon trying to read my lolo’s handwriting… I just fixed it before typing this entry.
After that, our van came next. It had been showing its defects since last year but they couldn’t see the problem here so my dad had to bring it to the city to have it fixed. And it was. And then just today when my dad was to get the van from Chrysler, our Honda Accord 1996 edition was again in an accident. Someone hit them at the bumper at the back while they were on their way to our condo. Luckily, again, everyone is safe.
So much had happened the past month… Heartbreaking, and also pocket breaking (monetary issues) since everything goes out and only a bit comes in… But, I guess it’s okay… It’s not like this happens every month for every year. Maybe everything just fell into place at the same time…
Enough with the sad things. I’ve been job hunting since June and only this week had I been called by 4 companies already (including the one that just called me today). Yesterday I had 3 job interviews and I will have another one on Friday. I’m not sure on where to go. Lol. I also have another offer coming from the US but this offer will be home based… I’m not yet sure if I can take on that offer because I don’t work as well as much as I would if I knew someone is watching over me. So, yeah… I’m still giving it a thought though. It is an opportunity for me… A step to the US I guess.
Give me your thoughts about the US offer.

I like the idea of a home-based work environment. I know I would get distracted easily but at least I can set my own hours. Also, you’ll have assignment due dates so its not like you won’t ever do your work. And working from home can be motivating. Since you’re home and having plans to do this or that will motivate you to quickly finish your workload before moving onto personal things.
You could always check to see if they can give you a part-time preliminary/trial period so you could see if that works. What kind of company is it? Or what field of work are you looking for?
