I wasn’t able to post an entry about greeting you guys for the New Year so here it is…
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
I was in a vacation to the coldest part of our country till the morning of the 31st and just got home the afternoon of the 31st as well.. So I wasn’t able to blog… Another reason is because we don’t have internet access there - except for Starbucks but it’s a bit far from where we stayed and we usually only stay there for a few minutes after getting our drinks then we leave…
The vacation was short… And everyone really wanted to stay for another couple of days… But as we left late, we leave early.. Meaning we can’t extend anymore because it’s already the eve that day we left… Also, we can’t extend anymore because with the duplex where we were staying, another set of tourists will be renting it… So yeah…
What exactly did I do during that short vacation out of town…? Well… Lets see… I slept, I ate, I played Phoenix Wright on my sister’s Nintendo DS (which actually makes me want to buy one because of that.. ), I did a few activity papers for next term, I played Mini Golf, and then I ate, and slept, and ate, and slept… That’s it..
2008, another year… My last school year in college will begin in the year… And then, I will become another one of those “unemployed” people… Not that I don’t want to work… Somehow I’d like to work already than be stuck in school… But thinking about it makes me wonder if I would ever miss school once I am out of it… Sigh… Then again, I do have a goal of attaining a Masters Degree… Something related to what I have started. Everything that I took up in college will be like my stepping stone to my Masters.. I’ve considered looking for a university outside the country that had the courses under Video Editing, or, more Multimedia… I’m still not sure…
2007 had been a rough year for me… A lot of challenges occurred… A lot of tears fell… I don’t know about 2008… But one thing is for sure, tears already fell from my eyes on the very 1st of January… And on the eve of the 1st, I wasn’t feeling good… Sigh.. I just hope that that is not a sign to anything bad this year.. I need to be healthy enough for our thesis cause I am sure that’s a total of 3 terms no sleep…
I was searching the net just for fun as I was a bit bored today - nothing to do, my niece is already asleep, my sister is using the computer upstairs… I Googled my name. As in my real nickname… And surprisingly, A LOT of people have the same spelling as my name…! Well, a lot of people have the same name as I do - as in the pronunciation… But I never thought that I had a lot of people with the same spelling… I just thought that my sister had the most unique way of creating names with unique spellings… :sweatdrop: But anyway, not that I’m pissed about it or something… Why would I? I just found it a bit surprising… Ahehehe…
Anyway… I hope that what ever is in store for each and everyone of us for this year, I just hope that we all learned something from our mistakes the past year… And hope that we won’t repeat them again..
Thank you everyone for a great 2007, and have fun on another great year of 2008!
Tomorrow, I am headed back to the city to continue with my studies… Classes start next week, Monday… And you can clearly say that I haven’t yet got the vacation that I wanted… Sigh… Well… What ever can I do… Sigh…

I don’t know why up to now, even though it is Christmas, I still don’t feel like Christmas… In any case, I am still happy about the gifts that I received… These are the gifts that I received:
- 500GB external hard disk (from my parents)
- SIMS 2 University (from Ate Jay - my older sister)
- Desk Organizer (from Arnie - my younger sister)
- Pen Holder (from my Aunt)
- Sweater (from Ate Pam - my oldest sister)
- Shirt (from my Aunt)
- Keychain + money (from my grandparents)
- Planner (from my Uncle)
- Pens + Pocket Calculator (from my Aunt and her husband)
And since I am SO BORED today, I took a picture of all my gifts - except the sweater, the shirt, and of course the money…

It’s Christmas Eve, and I’m not supposed to feel like this. How exactly do I feel? I feel so lonely… I’m not even supposed to be bored at this time of the day, at this time of the holidays. Yet I am… I haven’t talked to him in a straight conversation the whole day, my older sister and I were driving all over town the whole day, I haven’t seen him (through webcam) the whole day! How am I supposed to spend a great Christmas?!
I know, I know… I’m ranting again… But I don’t know what to do anymore. This is not me. I am supposed to be happy because it’s Christmas, like any other Christmas that I had had. Although this time is a bit different because for once in Christmas time, I am not single… But you find me alone in my room typing this. Meaning, I am not happy like I thought I would be, like I thought I should be.
Where is he… He’s been playing in his laptop the whole day (which by the way I told him not to install games because his laptop is supposed to be for WORK), expecting me to reply to his text every time he does. He hasn’t been online, meaning my bill will go up again, with means another sermon-like-joke from my parents…
Sigh… I am seriously BORED. I also apologize for boring you guys with this entry…
Anyway, here’s a greeting from me to you guys:
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!
Here’s a cake for everyone! (I will post an entry more about these towel cakes next time… For the mean time, that’s the only towel cake that I will show everyone..
I hope you guys have a great holiday!

As I mentioned in one of my previous entires, it is nearing Christmas… In our tradition, it’s the start of what we call the Simbang Gabi meaning those who would like to go to mass everyday, 9 days before Christmas, at early in the morning, they can. By the time this ends, what they say, the person who completed all 9 days can grant a wish. I don’t know if it is just a tradition of the Filipinos or maybe we adopted them from other cultures or something… I’m not quite sure…
But anyway… It’s nearing Christmas and most of us still don’t have the spirit of Christmas… I know I do… It’s 5:15 in the morning and I’m not thinking of anything except of what I will do this break… Well, I am a bit determined to fix myself up this Christmas, a bit more than the ordinary me… Ordinary me meaning wearing a pair of pants, a blouse, my flipflops, my eyeglasses, hair flowing.. What I wanted this Christmas was that I would look far more that I usually do… I just don’t know what to do yet… But I am going to wear a skirt…
My mom said she doesn’t have the Christmas spirit in her as well… Even though the house is already decorated with all her Christmas decors (yeah, finally I was able to go home after a VERY long time), I don’t know why she still doesn’t have the spirit in her… My niece is already way too excited to open her gift even though she doesn’t know how cause she’s just 1 year old… But they do say that she’s already trying to remove the Christmas card that was in her gift… :sweatdrop: But anyway… I don’t feel Christmas but somehow I have the Christmas spirit… A bit… Cause my wallet feels it… -.-;
Anyway, I think I have to try to go to sleep now… I still have a long day ahead of me…

Finally, my 2nd term of my 3rd year in college is finally over… Now I can relax more… And actually enjoy my Christmas… Hopefully I will… Sigh…
IT’S VACATION TIME!
Christmas… It’s the time of waiting again… Waiting for the birth of Christ…
Anyway, this term had been a hell term. Lots of challenges had faced our group and luckily, we are still together and not apart. And I DO hope that it will stay that way until we all graduate.
I got my schedule for next term… Well, it’s not yet complete because I still petitioned for one course which I really need, but here’s the basic outline of what I will be having next term…
- Japala1 - I blogged about this course before… So you guys might know it already… It’s Japanese Language 1 for our Free Elective…
- AlgoCom -I think this is analyzing the algorithms of how a computer works… I’m not quite sure… But our friends who already too the course said that’s it’s easy to pass… Hopefully it is…
- IntroOS - Introduction to Operating Systems.. I have NO idea of what we will be tackling here…
- ISResMe - And this is the 1st part of our thesis… Research Methods… Basically this is where we will be formulating our thesis projects before the implementation (I think) during the first term of our 4th year…
- ProbSta -Probability and Statistics… Another Math subject… Hope I won’t fail this this time… Sigh…
As of now, I am still petitioning for ProbSta… But I, rather, WE are really in need of it next term… Sigh…
Anyway, got to go… I just wanted to post this out of boredom even though I am already supposed to be asleep at this time of the day.
