Ever since FIFA, people here in the Philippines became interested in football. Even my sister who is not really into football got hooked, I don’t know why.

Then last year as well, there was a football tournament where the Philippines was involved. Take note that I did not even know that we had a football team. I knew that the school where I graduated grade school from had a football team and was competing against other schools. But the Philippines having a team, that I did not know of.

And so the games were wild, even at our small place. My sister was rooting for, of course, the Azkals.

I wasn’t interested in sports as much so I did not know about any of the players, who won, who lost, who was leading, etc. Then all of a sudden, I kept on hearing and reading about this Younghusbands every where. I kept thinking to myself, how did they become part of the Philippine team when it was obvious that they are not Filipinos! It was explained to me just recently that they were half-and-half and obviously their mother is the Filipino.

So, I was looking at facebook a while ago and I came across a post from a friend about this Phil Younghusband singing Teenage Drama Queen. I looked at it and there were 3 of them in the video. I did not know what he looked like so searched what this Phil Younghusband looked like.

At first I was not as impressed as the others were in his looks. There were even some shoutouts as I have heard about people saying “Phil Younghusband, make me your Youngwife”, or something like that.

I looked around for other videos of him and I came across a video of him singing at Celebrity Duets. When his eyes were closed up, I was – “Oh. My. God. Now I know what they are talking about!!”

From what I saw, his eyes were dark blue. And his accent was to die for. I love the british accent and I love blue / green / charcoal eyes.

I admit that he is not a good singer so I guess he’s better off just playing and probably dancing. But despite that, I don’t care. He’s gorgeous.
