I’ve been trying to fix the layout… I really have no idea how to fix it as of now cause I do have a lot on my mind.. Anyways, in case someone would know my solution, just leave a comment.

Here’s the problem: I placed a background on my CSS and I also have an inline CSS with the HTML coding. The background which is coded with the HTML is Alex’s picture (placed it fixed and non-repeating). Then the one on the CSS is the main background. Now, when the content of the site is less than what I have for my sidebar, Alex’s picture gets covered when I scroll down… How can I fix this? I did think that I can put in the background on the column of the content… But then the background of Alex’s picture and the coded background would not be the same (I don’t know what the problem is even though I did copy the right color code from photoshop itself). Help anyone?

Right now, I’m thinking I had enough ranting. So, how WAS my Christmas vacation, really? (besides all that ranting I mean) Well, over-all, I think it was good. Except for the fact that I wasn’t able to enjoy it much because I was working even while on vacation. All four of us were… *sigh* Oh well… We’ll just have to think, this is our last term for college and that we have to do our very best.

My gifts for Christmas… I wasn’t expecting most of them cause, I don’t know… I just didn’t expect them. Not that I didn’t like them cause I did. Here’s a list:

• From my Parents: Louis Vuitton (did I spell that right?) wallet (they say it’s original. hell, why would our parents even give us fake ones anyways) (I just found out that it was fake. We went to LV a while ago to have my wallet checked cause it already had a dent mark of the coin purse and totally ruined the wallet. They said it wasn’t their product. )
  
• Ate Pam, Kuya Eman and Alex (oldest sister, her husband, and their daughter): Photograph Composition book
• Ate Jay and Arnie (older sister and younger sister): Digital picture frame
• Tito Pancho (uncle): some sort of jewelry box from Tiffany & Co.
• Tita Pinky (aunt): Photo Album
• Tita Presy (aunt): ( God, I hope she forgives me… I forgot what she gave!)
• Tita Pey and Tito Arnel (aunt and her husband): a cute lamp which has the shape of a bottle
• Grandmother and Grandfather (father side): 500 pesos
• Grandmother (mother side): Miracle necklace? I think that’s what it was called. They said it came all the way from Jerusalem (she had my uncle/cousin [also a priest] buy it for her when he went their on a pilgrimage)
• Vinno: a blouse that I personally picked out from MANGO. (wished it was ZARA though. Kidding! )

After all that, I had my room fixed! Finally! My room is as fixed as ever! Although it looks really empty considering that I removed almost everything that didn’t belong to me which was in the room (which was A LOT) and had them placed in our storage room at the attic (yes, our attic is not the storage room because it is our family room. We have a separate small room inside the attic which is the storage room ). I had my SUPER old monitor removed from my computer table which sits inside my room without a computer to hold, I cleaned out my desk (which was then full of stuff that I never use, mostly my mom’s stuff cause she uses my desk to check her paper works), ALL the CDs that I had here that were PS1 games, I had them placed in the attic as well (which meant that my computer table is now empty. ) Basically, I was really happy after that day cause finally, my room was as clean as I can imagine it to be… My problem now is my bookshelf. I have LOTS of books here that I DO NOT use, and would like them out. Sadly, my mom wouldn’t let me put them in the storage room cause she said that it wasn’t there for books, and our bookshelves (where the books inside my room used to be before I took them out for college) are already full thanks to their 5 inched medical books. *sigh* So now, I am stuck with books that I do not even use. And not to mention, my bookshelf is only small! >.<

Ok, I think I have ranted way too much again. I have to go to work. I still have one set of misconception to do, a guide documentation and its interface to be done by, my target date, tomorrow. *sigh*

Under Life, Site

Finally! I have updated my blog.

I’ve been busy, and I still am. Yet what am I doing here updating my blog’s layout?? To be honest, I wanted a break. Although I know that it is like, 5 in the morning here, I just needed a break. It’s been 2 days since the start of our classes and I can’t say that its been hectic. It had just been stressful because of thesis. That’s all.

Although, what I can’t seem to get is that, why can everyone suddenly see through me when before its like I didn’t even exist? Are my emotions way to obvious for everyone to see?

Anyway, the next time I log on the blog again, I will try my best to change the bullets and my avatars. But right now, I’m thinking that I already need to sleep.

EDIT: On second thought, I’d like to fix my body clock. So I’ll stay up….

Hey there! I’ve been away for exactly a week due to server problems… But, obviously, the server is now fine..

So, what had I been up to the past week… Well, OJT is.. Well… Still boring… School… It’s starting next week… Then I just accepted to be VP – Communications for our batch… I just thought that since I am already in the spamming business for the next year due to Moomedia, might as well do it for the batch…

Websites… I had been way too late in updating my website, namely Tomoeda… And in launching our website (in collaboration with my two sisters)… Although, I recently just finished (just minutes ago) my sister’s blog… Visit it! click click click!!

Food trip! I’ve been cooking the past days… Last Sunday I made crep batter and crep itself… Then just last night, I was so bored since my oldest sister isn’t around, as well as her husband (for short I had the entire condo for myself *evil laugh*) And I bought pork chops last Sunday as well so I decided to try something… I tried cooking my favorite recipe for pork chops… Pork steak… I found a recipe online and followed as it said.

I had the pork steak for lunch a while ago… And I was SO satisfied with the outcome… Even last night, I was so tempted to eat since it smelled SO good! But no, I pulled myself together and didn’t eat in the end…

You might want to try to put in the soy sauce and the garlic you used for marination after the pork had been cooked for a little soup. I love it that way…

This is great, especially if you would like to try something new for dinner… Or maybe for lunch… This is one of the Filipino foods that I’d love to learn how to cook… Next stop is Adobo…

As for the crep, I’ll link the recipe next time…

Under Food Trip, Site

I’m back again… And this time, it’s not 3 in the morning! :laugh: Anyways, the theme of this site is from my younger sister… I was talking to her the night I made this layout and asked for any suggestions… And she said coffee break. That’s the theme… So I searched the web for an image… And I found one from Starbucks and manipulated the image a bit for it to fit in my layout… Although I didn’t do much of it… :sweatdrop:

Also, while I was thinking of a theme for the site and how it would look like, I found a site which inspired me. It was just a very very simple blog, just white and had 1 main image. Very simple and I loved it. That is the inspiration of this layout… :smile: Here’s the like if you guys want to see the site.

Sigh… Again, I am a lazy person. I tasked myself to do our related literature for our thesis today at around 5 and I wasn’t able to do it… I was out that time… Not that I minded cause I was really supposed to go out today… But anyway… That aside…

Gah. I really need to get to work… I need something to motivate me to work… Problem is, I have none. :frustrated:

[EDIT] I have finally finished fixing the layout. I hope nothing else goes wrong… :smile: Umm… I said I’ll start doing our related literature by 10… But it’s already almost 1 and I still haven’t done anything. :laugh: Sigh… I REALLY have do it tomorrow… My groupmates will kill me… :sad: [/EDIT]

Under Site

I know I just posted a while back that I couldn’t think of a layout… Well, my sister gave me an idea and here it is… :sweatdrop: There might still be a few bugs as I haven’t finished it yet… It’s already 3 in the morning here and I’m still awake. :laugh:

Anyway… I’ll finish the layout tomorrow before I go to work on our thesis paper… For now, I think I have to go to bed… I hope you guys liked the new layout! :smile:
