Just something that I would like to rant about.
I have this exhibit for the whole week this week, and it just ended just a while ago. This is not my personal exhibit but an organization exhibit where we would get to show the other students of the university the works (digital arts, photography, whatever original works they would have) of our members.
And since it was the last day today, I was very much determined not to get anything damaged, or anything to fall off (the board that we were able to borrow from the school had a carpet like thing to hold whatever we would wish to put there and they said that the only thing that sticks to that thing is Velcro. So, our org president bought some for the exhibit. Only, it doesn’t stick well to the double-sided tape that we used. So I thought that double-sided tape alone will stick better to the carpet like thing. Unfortunately, it doesn’t. We left it there for class. After class, I went back to check on it only to see that EVERYTHING was ruined. only 3 pictures were left sticking on the board, and all the rest were torn apart, not to mention they were even folded. Another thing there is, there are members there watching over the booth. Not to mention members who would someday want to be a part of the organization through officership. Did they even bother to stick these up again and TRY not to ruin them? NO. They were just talking to each other, not minding other’s business. ALL my hard work for the whole week was ruined. The time that I spent on creating and printing all those stuff went down the drain. And always wanted to make this exhibit a good one. Something that everyone would say that I did a great job.
I want those sleepless nights back.

With less sleep and having trouble in transferring it back to the mini-dv tape 30 minutes before the class starts…!! >.< We slept WHILE the video was rendering. It’s not our fault! It was already 4 in the morning…!! :frustrated: At least I was able to play around with my laptop fast enough to make everything work before the time. Sigh. I didn’t even go to class. My body was so stressed out and was looking for some sleep. Also, I was WAY too lazy to go to class at 8 in the morning and I still haven’t had enough sleep because of that stupid video. :grr:
HANA KIMI is over?! :cry: I hope there will be a continuation, since it is quite obvious from the way they ended the last episode.. :grin:
Kodocha had me craving for it for the longest time…! I’ve been way too addicted in this anime since the time I first watched it, lost, then back when I was able to grab copies of it’s manga when we had a vacation in the States. I wasn’t able to control myself in buying a DVD version of the 1st season when I saw it in Comic Alley at the Mall of Asia. It’s a bit expensive, correction. It’s EXPENSIVE. But for me it’s a bit worth it because Kodocha had me going for anime again. :smile: Ever since Hana Yori Dango 2 Returns, I haven’t been watching any anime, nor had I been reading any manga. But, it brought me back to life. :smile: I REALLY miss downloading and waiting eagerly for TRC. I can’t wait for the next season / OVA (I’ve read about some rumors that they are going to broadcast an OVA instead of a 3rd season…)

With regards to my previous post and with the comments that I received via YM, I’m sorry… :sad: Seriously… Like I said, I just had a rough day that time the reason I said all those things…
Anyway, what’s important is I’m doing fine right now. :smile: Thanks to Vinno who took care of me… And of course to my parents and my two sisters for pitching in even though I was already sweating and was already obviously fine when they picked me up. Nonetheless, thanks. :smile:

One good thing about school today though, our class in this building where you’d literally crawl when you have a class at the top floor, is moved to our college building. Thank God. I won’t, correction, WE won’t have to go all the way to that building and climb up that set of stairs… We can finally leave 5 minutes allowance before going to class - we can’t be late, the professor told us that clearly on our second meeting. But anyway, at least I won’t get any asthma attack anytime just because of those stairs. :grin:
It’s not yet in the middle of the term and yet I feel so STRESSED OUT! Speeches due here, proposals due there, drawings due here, videos due there… Due dates are everywhere! :cry:
Here’s my list of subjects this term:
- 2DGRAFX - 2D Graphics
- COMOGRA- Computer Organization
- EDUCMGNT - Education Management (more on I.T. than Education)
- ENGLTRI -Public Speaking to be exact
- RELSTRI - Theology that focuses on Morality
- VD-PROD - Video Production
Doesn’t look much of a hectic term, but it is. VD-PROD has dues EVERY week. Luckily as of now, nothing is required to be edited using video editing programs. But in our later projects, EVERYTHING is required to be edited. :cry: And just so happens that even though we are 4 in one group, only two are available for editing because our other two groupmates have a much more hectic schedule that we have; so we have to help each other out. :sad:
Anyway, I have to go… I still have to rise early tomorrow cause Ken, a classmate, wants me as one of their audiences for their shooting for their VD-PROD project tomorrow morning… :sad:
