Adobo, as from Wikipedia, is Spanish for sauce, seasoning, or marinade. It comes in a lot of forms nowadays. I’ve seen recipes in the internet which includes sugar as one of its ingredients (apparently that’s the classic recipe). Some put pineapple, some put potatoes, some put eggs, some just have the meat and the sauce and that’s it. Some even make it Adobo flakes. I read from the website stated below that CPK (California Pizza Kitchen) even has its own Adobo flavored pizza!
The good thing for Adobo is that you can cook it and store it for a long time in the freezer as it does not contain any easily perishable ingredients.
