Last Saturday, May 31, 2008, the SM Mall of Asia held the Manga’Holix Anime Convnetion. It was the very first convention that I went to and actually almost spent the entire day inside the convention center. Me and onee-chan usually just stick around and look at all the stuff they have in their booths then leave if we don’t like anything. But this time around, I was with Vinno (I forced him to go so I paid for his entrance ticket.. ) Anyways…

At first, I came only with Vinno. Then inside the convention center, I met up with Mag and Lucky (high school friends). Although, around maybe an hour before that, I had already stumbled upon them in the FullyBooked booth… But I didn’t want to get their attention at first because my ex was there and I didn’t know how to react. It was the first time in how many years since we last saw each other. I’m thinking it had been around 3 years or less a few months. And to think that we were still dating the last time I saw him.

Anyways, a coincidence was, me and Mag were looking at the same table and she didn’t even notice me! Again, that was fine with me cause I didn’t know how to act in front of him at that time… We had constant meetings, Mag and the others didn’t seem to notice me… Except for Tere… Although I don’t think she still remembered me cause I wasn’t hanging out much with them during high school…

And so me and Mag (she was with Lucky at that time) finally met by the cosplay stage… That wasn’t accidental this time. I had to give her something so we really intended to meet. Then when they left to look for my ex (Robee is his name), we went on as well. We roamed around once again for like, the 3rd time? Until a sudden meeting occurred. Me and Vinno were supposed to go buying those hats (I forgot what they called ‘em.. ) which they sold for me to buy for my niece and for my pleasure during that event… And while we were on our way to the other side of the convention center,  I really had to bump into him… Well, not that I’m really pissed. It’s just that, that exact meeting wasn’t the one I had imagined it to be… I was thinking that we’d really talk… But then again, I was way too shocked to even say the word “hi” in a lively manner! I just looked at him in the eye and muttered the word “hi”, then I went on.

I was hoping for another encounter that night when we went back to the convention center and met up with Tori and Erin… Mag and Lucky passed by so I called them since they looked really tired (we were sitting by one corner that time). So, I was hoping that I’d finally have some talk with him again and end his guilt once and for all. But, the time came that we had to leave, he still didn’t show up. I was thinking that, maybe he saw me beside Mag, the reason he didn’t come… Sigh…

I left the convention center with Tori, Erin, and Vinno to watch the Pyro Olympics which we didn’t get to appreciate because of the ceiling that was blocking the sky. (Everyone was there supposed to be watching the fireworks but, it wasn’t really something to appreciate because we can’t see! )

Anyways, enough with the drama! I’ll be posting a few images here next time… I still have to grab permission from my friend who had the camera with my pics in it…

The cosplay, by the way, had less Naruto than I expected! There was more who portrayed characters from Bleach. And to my surprise, there was even one from Taiho Shichauzo (Kobayakawa Miyuki to be exact). Although I didn’t like how she was portrayed. For one thing, sure Miyuki was a cop… But, I don’t think she had hand cuffs hanging around her waist.. I think it was well hidden insider her, pockets maybe..?

Then there was this CUTE CUTE CUTE KAWAIII kid who portrayed a character from the anime Prince of Tennis… I don’t know who the character is, I just know that the kid is so KAWAII!!!! *squeals* I’ll put up a pic soon too…

Before I would leave my 18-year-old self just in a few minutes, I just realized how little and yet how much I have already accomplished… Whether it would include my future in it or my hobbies… I’ve had a lot… Starting tomorrow till the next year will be my last year as a teenager and I cannot believe how time files so fast. Sigh…

Now, what exactly have I accomplished…? Well… There’s with my food habits… It’s a fact that I don’t eat much when school is ongoing… But when I do, well, let’s just say that I might as well grab a recipe book and cook all the time. And did I mention that I will eat ‘em..? :laugh: Then again, STRAWBERRIES are still my favorite. :yum:

Next would be my love for anime and j-drama… All I’ve been watching these past months had been j-dramas… You ca barely count the anime that I watched. Not that my love for anime is growing weaker, I just don’t find the next anime that I would love… Well, I did recently… Minami-ke. :laugh: What exactly had been my list for this year..? Well… Lets list them out then! :laugh:

• Hana Yori Dango
• Hana Yori Dango Returns
• Hana Kimi
• Bambino!

Not that much I know.. But hey, it’s a start. :laugh:

Friends… Well, I can say that I had my ups and downs with each and everyone of them… But everything turned out all right in the end… :tongue:

As for school… Well, maybe I haven’t been doing my best in a few other subjects.. But I definitely would make it to the list if I just did my best… :sweatdrop: Busy as usual when school is on, but I still try to find enough time for my family, friends and whoever there is out there that needs my attention. :rofl:

I am still your typical girl right…? I still am a fan of those old music, I know… No matter how old a certain thing is and that it might not be the thing that’s popular, there is still this little hinge in me that still says that, “Hey, I am still a typical girl fandomizing this music, right?” You get the picture… :sweatdrop:

Sigh… Last few minutes as an 18-year-old teen… I wish this next year for me will be a more fruitful one since it will also be my last year in college, I suppose…

By the way, I would like to thank each and every one of you who had visited this site for the past year… And thank you for being a part of my life.. There’s still my family to thank as well. And my friends - Kimihatz - who had always been there as well. :smile: College friends… And of course, my baby, Vinno. I love you so much! :smile:

As the title of the entry mentions… Yes, it is the end of my vacation, Christmas Vacation to be exact. I feel like I have wasted my vacation on playing games, or sleeping, or maybe eating… Well, not that I am quite complaining about it cause that is what I usually complain during school days that I don’t have the time to sleep or play games… Sigh…

Let’s see… What games have I started to play… First was THE SIMS 2 UNIVERSITY because of the installer that my sister gave me for Christmas, it kinda pushed me to want to play it all day long until 4-5 in the morning… :sweat: Then there’s Phoenix Wright : Ace Attorney from my sister’s DS (the same sister that gave me the SIMS 2 installer) which got me addicted since the day we went out of town for a vacation… And again, I’ve been playing it like crazy, wanting to solve all cases as I can as I enjoy that stuff… Next is Dynasty Warriors 4… Well… The story behind this is that me and Vinno were both bored so we headed over to our place in the business district (where my sisters stay). Then I pulled out all my sister’s PS2 Games (again, the same sister.. :sweatdrop: ) and we picked something to play since we were both broke… And while his is here visiting me or staying for a while after dropping me off, instead of leaving the place and spend more and more of our money, we just stay put and play… Get frustrated because of the bosses that we couldn’t defeat… Taking up strategies just to finish off all guards/bosses per place… Sigh… It’s fun while it lasts I guess…

And just so happens that I had these stuff that I wanted to do during the vacation, and not one was even finished.. :cry:

MY “TO-DO LIST” DURING MY CHRISTMAS BREAK:

• Re-do my mom’s database system cause there are a lot of errors and useless stuff in what she has right now…
• Do my Uncle’s online portfolio for his shop…
• Do the web site that we were asked to do since last summer…

As you can see, they all lean on my specialization… And all those projects were thought of my yours truly since last summer… And none, until now, are done… Sigh.. Everything is WAY over due.. :cry:

During the vacation as well when I learned that there is an OVA to Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles thanks to Belle.. :smile: She e-mailed me asking me about it when I wasn’t up-to-date with everything because of school. Then during the vacation I finally got enough space (thanks to my new hard drive) so I downloaded it and finally watched it. IT WAS SO COOL! Syaoran is cooler than ever! :love:

Sigh… School starts in 2 days… Actually, 1 day cause it’s already 12:11 in the morning right now as I type this… School starts tomorrow! :cry: I’m still not ready to face a new term… It’s like I’m still not over the vacation yet… I still want to have a vacation! :cry:

I know, I know… I’m ranting again… Rants will start again in this blog since school will start again… I just don’t know how to express my feelings personally to everyone. That has been my problem ever since… Sigh… Projects here, assignments there… Misunderstanding here, yelling there… I wouldn’t know where to start… Everything is like a roller coaster to me… Maybe that’s the reason why I hate roller coasters… Cause then I wouldn’t know what to do once the ride falls down a loop, or once it falls in a “hill”… Would I scream like a maniac and cry, or will I enjoy and take everything as a challenge… I don’t know… Sigh…

My website, Tomoeda, haven’t been touched since I don’t know when… :annoyed:Even though I would try to look for something to change there, nothing comes to me. Not that the site is perfect and everything cause I know for a fact that it is FAR, as in REALLY FAR, from being the most informative site… I just don’t know where to start editing and revising stuff… :huh:

Sigh… I guess this will be the last entry because I start the term again… Last entry that doesn’t have rants in it for the time being… Sigh… Sorry for ranting so much… :sad:

EDITED OUT FIRST PARAGRAPH.

With less sleep and having trouble in transferring it back to the mini-dv tape 30 minutes before the class starts…!! >.< We slept WHILE the video was rendering. It’s not our fault! It was already 4 in the morning…!! :frustrated: At least I was able to play around with my laptop fast enough to make everything work before the time. Sigh. I didn’t even go to class. My body was so stressed out and was looking for some sleep. Also, I was WAY too lazy to go to class at 8 in the morning and I still haven’t had enough sleep because of that stupid video. :grr:

HANA KIMI is over?! :cry: I hope there will be a continuation, since it is quite obvious from the way they ended the last episode.. :grin:

Kodocha had me craving for it for the longest time…! I’ve been way too addicted in this anime since the time I first watched it, lost, then back when I was able to grab copies of it’s manga when we had a vacation in the States. I wasn’t able to control myself in buying a DVD version of the 1st season when I saw it in Comic Alley at the Mall of Asia. It’s a bit expensive, correction. It’s EXPENSIVE. But for me it’s a bit worth it because Kodocha had me going for anime again. :smile: Ever since Hana Yori Dango 2 Returns, I haven’t been watching any anime, nor had I been reading any manga. But, it brought me back to life. :smile: I REALLY miss downloading and waiting eagerly for TRC. I can’t wait for the next season / OVA (I’ve read about some rumors that they are going to broadcast an OVA instead of a 3rd season…)
