I started webdesigning late 2000. That was when I got addicted to Card Captor Sakura. Since then, I got addicted to webdesigning; the reason I am where I am right now… Not only does my course contain creating teaching aids, it also focuses on being on the multimedia side.

As some might have noticed, I usually change layouts and versions even though I don’t do anything with the content… Yeah. That had been my habit. And as for Tomoeda, I have been using up images from the web, and not mine. Well, my goal for this site, supposedly, is that all images that I will use will all be mine - meaning I was the one who took them. But due to lack of resources, I have changed my mind when I was thinking of this layout. As for Tomoeda, I will be changing the site once I get out of school next year, probably. And that’s going to be a whole new make-over of the fansite.

Ever since then, I have been creating layouts, different layouts. I have also tried on creating different websites. Not only did I have one for Card Captor Sakura then, I also had one for W.I.T.C.H. and a shrine for Sakura and Syaoran which I then named Distant Memories. But, I wasn’t able to maintain all. W.I.T.C.H. closed around the year 2003 (it didn’t last long). Distant Memories, although I loved the site and I didn’t had any plans in closing it, I had to, around 2004, due to a lot of hosting problems. I wanted to keep the site as much as I could because I know that a lot of people are looking at it because it was once featured in the a local anime magazine… But I had no choice but to close it down… I might open it again soon though, if I have the time…

I also remember having a Harry Potter site… I forgot what I named it because I know it didn’t last that long either… Either that or I wasn’t able to launch it…

I tried to maintain Tomoeda Elementary (former name of Tomoeda which opened in the year 2001) as much as I could. And now, it has grown into a 2-anime site. Although due to college and all the projects that we have, I have failed to maintain the site.

Currently, Tomoeda is on hiatus but me and my sisters are creating a new website. It will launch soon, as soon as we get all information done for the site.

Being in my creative state right now, I just hope that this continues throughout the year. I will really need it for thesis…

multimedia history

I started getting interest in multimedia since I started webdesigning. Although I didn’t pay much attention to almost anything then other than creating good layouts for my website as I was still exploring things then. As I grew up, I started to become more interested in more stuff, like creating Flash stuff, doing videos, playing around with images, taking pictures… Everything started with webdesign I guess. It was what made me get to where I am right now.

What exactly am I taking up in college…? I am taking up Instructional Systems Technology, meaning we create programs for teaching aids, that’s why we have education subjects… That’s why we have photography classes and video production classes… Because not only can you create powerpoint presentations as teaching aids, not only can you create flash animations for teaching aids, photos and videos can also be used to diseminate information to other people. They are even more interactive and more “experience” based if I may say. It’s fun. While it lasted.

I started watching animes since I don’t know when… I was still around 7, I think, when both my older sisters got hooked on Sailor Moon, thus the first ever anime that I watched. Then, I remember being hooked on My Neighbor Totoro where both me and my younger sister watched it EVERYDAY. That’s when everything started… And now, I can’t remember all animes that I have watched, or even tried to watch… I had a lot on my list before, but I didn’t like a few… And I cannot remember all those animes that I have watched (counting those that I just caught up at AniMax or Hero channel).

Onee-chan introduced me to the world of gaming by letting me play Chrono Trigger. The first ever game that I played and the first and last ever game where I was so afraid of the boss. Seriously. Both me and my younger sister yelled when I accidentally clicked on going to the boss area when I wasn’t supposed to. Then the next thing I played was FF7… Then everything started from there. Even though I haven’t been able to finish anything lately, I still keep on playing.

The first drama I was exposed to was Meteor Garden, the taiwanese version of Hana Yori Dango. And from there on, I was hooked to them. I don’t have a lot of favorites with korean dramas or taiwanese or chinese dramas because I’m just not used to hearing the way they pronounce their words… I’m really not used to hearing korean, taiwanese and chinese people speak… But nonetheless, I still like it that way. I get the change to learn more about the Japanese Culture and their language…
